  • If my 8-year-old enrolls as a 3rd grader, and struggles in math, can he take 2nd grade math?
    • Yes, your child can participate in lessons from any subject at any grade level that the Teacher of Record and Learning Coach (parent/guardian) agree is the optimum level for your child. However, your child must take the MSTEP test at the end of the year in the enrolled grade level for all tested subject.
  • If real teachers are teaching lessons and my child is not just looking at slideshow presentations all day, does my child need to join class on a regular schedule each day?
    • No, even though U of A’s teachers will have video-recorded teaching lessons just like you would see in a one-on-one tutoring session, these lessons are pre-recorded and can be viewed at any time of day. 
  • Will my child’s teacher be available for questions?
    • Yes, all teachers will be available to answer questions via emails, texts, voice calls, video chats, and tutoring sessions during normal school hours.
